Hey! I'm Alexander Zhang. I'm from Toronto, and I'm super interested in math, business, and their intersections. I also love to sing!
I also cofounded www.TopsOJ.com, a math platform/community with 2000+ registered users dedicated to gamifying math
I started doing theoretical finance research this year under Prof. Gregory Weitzner of McGill University, and a paper I helped write proofs for was accepted into the Review of Economic Studies, a Top Five economics journal!
Singing is my favourite pastime. In addition to singing solo, I’m the copresident of my school’s musical theatre club, and also cofounded our school’s a capella group!
I mostly organize conferences rather than compete. As Director-General for Toronto MUN, a 600+ delegate conference, I organize the conference and help lead our the 100+ staff.
I ranked 5th place internationally at ICDC this year in the Entrepreneurship Team oral event. I’m also the President of my school’s 50-member DECA club.
